Kinda like, he is a good person but when we do a genocide run, he gets traumatized with the need to kill, then we force him through a pacifist run, he waited the whole game to kill everyone. They did indeed do the full murder run! The soulless ending in Handplates is interpreted in a more meta, symbolic way though.I have been thinking, the game breaks the 4th wall many times, most people say the first human takes the protagonist's body in the soulless pacifist run, but I have been thinking, what if, since we got to the end and we controlled the protagonist, the protagonist is just being himself? at the end of a genocide run there is something along the lines of "I noticed my determination wasn't mine, but yours", we are the ones making the protagonist progress, making him kill or spare, fight or have mercy, what if we are selling not the protagonist's soul to the first human, but instead our soul to the protagonist? You can think of the player still being “present” during the pacifist ending (the shadowZar hanging around Frisk and that Frisk’s SOUL is missing) as basically the equivalent of Radic showing up in the Pacifist ending with the pie. The player is there in a sense - Frisk is not. Technically the game is over at that point so there literally shouldn’t be a player anymore, but the lines around the definition of “player” are deliberately blurry in Handplates for reasons that should become more apparent later.įor clarity’s sake, the player timeline in Handplates goes like… It’s not the most literal interpretation of the ending of course, but it does fall in line with my personal interpretation of it (that the person you sell your soul to at the end of the murder run is yourself, or rather, your completionist side that can’t let these characters go out of a twisted kind of love for them). True reset (everything is wiped - there’s no evidence anywhere that this ever happened except the player’s reaction to Sans asking if they’re a good person and the player talking about what made them do a murder run when they decide to reset to find Gaster. Some dialogue with Flowey also alludes to it, unintentionally on Flowey’s part) A whole bunch of Neutral runs (essentially getting every possible ending, thus Sans’s new set of deja-vu memories).Hopefully that makes things a bit clearer, haha. The difficult thing is that the Handplates story is told from the perspective of the characters in Undertale, and there are things going on outside the game that they have no way of ever knowing or really understanding. It’s hard to get that across… but there’ll be more about it later. What about the computer? Things get a bit fiddly here. The timeline that the brothers saw (and Gaster subsequently recorded) was the murder run, since the first pacifist run essentially never happened by the game’s reckoning. Since the murder run basically destroyed all reality (as well as had lasting consequences beyond that ending), their vision wasn’t able to go past that point to see the human reset it again, so from their perspective the murder run was just where everything ended. This is why when they go check the computer later when the human starts their neutrals, the results of it haven’t changed! The data fed into the computer was from the murder run timeline, and since neither of them have been scraped for more data since Gaster existed, the data is out of date.Frisk is the main character of the story. They don't express emotion often, yet are somewhat childish. They view themselves as worthless or a bad person. However, they wear long sleeves and leggings to hide this.įlowey is careless and irritable. SOULless beings lack love, hope and compassion, but Flowey occasionally shows signs of these traits. Created by Lnoj CharaĬhara is often sarcastic. They urge Frisk to reset the timeline, and finish the genocide route one last time. Chara remains translucent to the viewers (with the exception of when they are in the void), but can only be seen by Frisk. Their eyes are naturally red, but glow whenever they are mad or make their "creepy face". The combined entity will be named as 'Meta Materials Inc.' and trade under the ticker "MMAT. Another bonus is that the Toyota is available with a hybrid drivetrain – which is just as well, as there’s no diesel alternative and the 2.4-litre and 3.0 V6 engines are pretty thirsty. The mid-spec 2.5-litre V6 diesel is the sweet spot between the sluggish 2.0 16-valver and thirsty 2.5 petrol V6, and you’ll be looking at between £1600 and £16,000.Ī great reputation for practicality and reliability, along with a broad spec line-up, have helped make the Alphard Japan’s best-selling MPV. Once you’ve installed the SD card, all you’ll need to do is restart the system and it will be in English.Crazy name, crazy van, but there is some sanity behind the madness. They should be able to offer you the appropriate software for your vehicle make and model. There are service centers that offer this service, and you can easily find one by performing a quick Google search. If you’ve been pulling your hair out, trying to change the navigation system’s language to English, then this is the best option for you. Tip 2: Bring Your Vehicle to a Service Center Once you’ve done this, the language will appear as English on your phone’s screen. All you’ll need to do is use the camera feature of the app and point your smartphone to the words you want to translate. Go to the Play Store, then download the application on your phone. One of the best workarounds for this is to use the Google Translate app. It can be difficult to go through the menu, especially when everything is in Japanese. Pro Tips for Changing the Japanese Language to English Setting on Toyota and Other JDM Cars Tip 1: Use Google Translate In this case, you need to buy a language disc in English to be able to use your car’s GPS. It is possible that the system is DVD-based. You need to perform this extra step if you still can’t use the navigation system after changing the language to English. What it does is set the default language to English. Keep in mind that this step is essential in ensuring that the GPS won’t go back to Japanese. Do this as soon as you’ve modified the language to English. So, we recommend that you look for that Language or LANG button on the menu. In some cases, the navigation system’s language goes back to Japanese after every boot. Once you start your car again, you must look for an option on the menu which says, “English.” It is worth noting that some JDM cars offer the option of modifying the language of the GPS as soon as you start the vehicle. Doing so will allow you to switch off the navigation system as well. The first thing you need to do is turn off the vehicle. See all Japanese used cars Step 1: Switch Off the Vehicle Once you're in the BIOS, you will see the temperature listed in the Hardware Monitor section, which can also be named PC Health Status or Status, among other similar names. Not all motherboards list the CPU temperature in the BIOS, but nearly all enthusiast or DIY motherboards do. On most platforms, you simply reboot the system and click delete or F2 repeatedly as it restarts. It's pretty simple to enter the BIOS to check your CPU temperature. That means you will see much higher temps when you are booted into Windows 10 or another operating system. You can check your CPU temperature in the system BIOS or UEFI, but be aware that this will only show your CPU temperature at idle. How to Check Your CPU Temperature in the BIOS Anything between 80C and 95C has room for improvement. You should be concerned if this figure is at or beyond 95C. The best way to monitor your temperature while gaming is to game for a while and then check back in with the program to see the maximum recorded temperature. Just be aware that this program puts an extremely heavy load on your PC. However, if you want to measure the maximum possible temperature, you can check by running a Prime95 stress test for about 30 minutes ( download here) in Windows 10 or Windows 11. If you want to check your PC's CPU temperature during normal use, you can leave Core Temp running while you perform common tasks. So, for example, the CPU in the above image has had a minimum temperature of 32C and a maximum of 51C and is, therefore, running at a normal temperature. But we're more interested in the Min and Max columns, which show the absolute minimum and the absolute peak temperature recorded while the program runs. The left-hand side of the measurements shows the real-time temperature of each CPU core, and you can also see the measurements in the taskbar. Just be sure to untick the freeware option during installation.Ĭore Temp provides temperature measurements for every core in your CPU. This is a simpler tool that works with a more basic UI. You can also use the Core Temp tool, one of the best CPU temperature tools for Windows 11 and Windows 10, to monitor the temperatures ( download here). While CAM is intended to be used with NZXT's products, it works really well as a casual monitoring tool in Windows 10 or Windows 11, even if you don't have any NZXT hardware. You can use the software in Guest Mode to avoid creating a user account, and you can also disable the program from starting automatically with Windows if you don't plan on using it often. These are just a few examples of many, but we'll show you how NZXT's CAM and Core Temp work because we have found that these two are the easiest to install and use. CAM is developed by PC case, power supply, and CPU cooler manufacturer NZXT. For more advanced users, or if you're overclocking your CPU and want more in-depth measurements, Intel's eXtreme Tuning Utility (XTU) and AMD's Ryzen Master software are designed by the chipmakers and also offer expansive options. There are multiple programs to choose from, with the best tools for checking CPU temperature, including Core Temp, NZXT's CAM, AIDA64, HWiINFO, or HWMonitor. How to Check Your CPU Temperature in Windows 10 and 11Ĭhecking your CPU temperature is as easy as installing and using monitoring software and then reading the output, and the same techniques apply to Windows 10 and Windows 11. As soon as a drive starts showing any sign of instabilities, it has a limited amount of time before it will crash completely, so accessing it may cause further degradation. The appropriate length of the test depends on the condition of the drive. When you'd like to stop testing, you can press Escape and see the summarized results. At any point during the test, you can press Spacebar to jump forward by about 1% of the drive's capacity. AHCI is recommended wherever possible!Īfter selecting your drive, you only need to press "m" to begin testing it. the utility will list all drives in the system, however in that case RDT must work in PIO mode, which will be very slow. ATA controllers in IDE mode are fully supported, i.e. The current release will only list one drive in the system if the ATA controller is set to AHCI mode. Please keep in mind that not all USB sticks are DOS bootable, so if you get any boot related errors then try using another USB stick.Īfter entering the software, you should select the index of the drive you would like to work with. The USB stick should then become FreeDOS bootable and the RDT utility should start on its own right after your Mac/PC boots up from it. bin image file should be restored sector by sector to a bootable USB stick using a software tool, or command line in OS X. Branded PCs are more likely to have problems. RDT should work on 2011+ Macs and on most PCs built from general purpose parts. Unlike almost all other software tools, this utility works directly through the ATA controller rather than through the BIOS/OS, which allows for increased operational stability and more accurate identification of hard drive read instabilities. It can also deactivate the Master Boot Record (MBR) in order to stop a drive from being mounted by any operating system ( here is why mounting is a bad idea for data recovery purposes). This free DOS-based software can be used to test hard drives for presence of read instabilities. Rapid Drive Tester (RDT) Software - Download Here The formulated semi-gloss paint has a drying time of < 2 hours and < 6 hours for surface dry and tack-free property respectively. The paint also possesses good resistance to blistering hence, it indicates that it has good external exposure resistance and thus can perform well when exposed to environmental conditions such as rain and sun. The formulated paint exhibited good adhesion, tackiness, opacity, flexibility and hardness properties. The paint has viscosity of 128 centipoise which makes it suitable for application by either brush or spray. The formulated semi-gloss paint has a pH of 7.82 which is a good pH for domestic paints. The physicochemical characterization of the paint indicates that it's a good paint with relatively very low VOC emission which conformed with the standard of the environmental pollution regulatory bodies in terms of chemical toxicity. In this study, Luffa aegyptiaca seed oil-modified alkyd resin was used as a binder in the formulation of a solvent based Semi-gloss paint. Apart from these benefits it encourages painters to enjoy the process of mixing the magical substances that become part of that wonderful creative process - the art of painting This book provides artists with the basic knowledge to experiment freely and produce their own media at a fraction of the cost of premixed commercial products. The high cost of commercially prepared art materials has been a major influence in the artist’s on-going quest to find reasonable substitutes. An understanding of the properties and characteristics of traditional art media and processes will equip the artist with knowledge that will enable him/her to develop new possibilities founded on stable and tested principles. In order to be able to experiment with new and unconventional materials a basic knowledge of traditional conventions is a necessity. This results from the curiosity of contemporary artists to explore alternatives to traditional materials and techniques. There is a growing need and desire amongst serious professional artists and students to know more about the composition and properties of the art media that they utilise in the creative process. This book covers most paint/ink media used by artists. All materials are discussed in detail enough for artists to intelligently experiment in the studio without risking catastophic failure of their artworks. The purpose of this book is to make it possible for artists to make their own paint media in their studio. Quality control test carried out on the two (2) samples of emulsion paint showed that the local pigment and extenders used (titanium iv oxide, calcium trioxocarbonate iv, kaoline, yellow iron oxide and red iron oxide) fitted in so well in the paints to give the necessary adhesion, opacity and coverage, with excellent binding effect observed. The two (2) samples gave high quality emulsion paints in terms of its brush ability, opacity, coverage, stability etc. The first sample was a creamy white colour paint, while the second sample has a result of the mixture of blending of locally sourced yellow iron oxide and red iron oxide. Emulsion paint of two (2) samples was produced, and calcium carbonate locally obtained was used in larger quantity in order to reduce the cost of production of the paint with little of the expensive titanium iv oxide added. The major raw materials used for the production of the emulsion paint: water, titanium iv oxide, calcium carbonate, kaoline, calgon, natrosol, biocide P.V.A, ammonia, deformer (Ginap) kerosene, yellow iron oxide and red iron oxide. The materials used for the production was of local source. The major aim of this research work is to produce emulsion paint from locally sourced pigment & extenders.
